Caroline Hopper, LLMSW
LLMSW: PSYCHOTHERAPIST
I am a therapist that shows you the power of open communication and vulnerability in healing.
Together, we will work on a plan for healing that suits you and meets you where you are through any stage. Imagine therapists as a tour guide through navigating emotions, stress, anxiety, etc. with a treasure chest of strategies!
With an empathetic approach, we will work to identify triggers, practice open communication, and explore the hidden gems of self love with tools that you can bring with you anywhere you go!
*I specialize in supporting clients experiencing trauma, grief, anxiety, and depression. I enjoy working with people of all ages, as have experience with clients from the age of 4 through 84.
About Me
From the time I was 11 years old, I had an interest in and curiosity for the field of mental health. I noticed the stigma surrounding mental health and from this young age felt it was my calling to advocate for the benefits. Now, after years in higher education, I serve as both an advocate and a therapist.
I earned my master’s degree in Clinical Social Work, with a concentration in mental health, from Wayne State University. Prior to my MSW, I received a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Grand Valley State University. I have additional training in children’s mental health, intellectual disabilities, and autism research.
Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, focusing on creative projects, reading, and traveling. You may find me taking time to focus on my own self care in pajamas and a feel-good romantic comedy.
