Kylie Capps (Gojanaj), LMSW
FOUNDER & PSYCHOTHERAPIST
I am a therapist showing you how to be your own therapist.
Together we will look for patterns, identify root causes, process emotionally, analyze logically, and review what we are doing each step of the way to ensure your feelings of safety and wellness.
With this approach you develop healing skills and insightful knowledge at the same time - building a unique opportunity to apply new healing in various stages of your life.
*I specialize in supporting children, teens, and young adults processing anxiety, ADHD, grief, and trauma.
About Me
As a child, I was raised in Grosse Pointe by my father, a PhD psychologist, and my mother, a Master's level Clinical Social Worker. Together they guided me on a path encouraging wellness, mental health advocacy, and a variety of healing practices. As I grew older, I discovered my own passion for these services.
I earned my master's degree in Clinical Social Work from the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor. With a practice area in mental health, I specialized in child, adolescent, and adult grief and loss therapy. Prior to my MSW, I earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Michigan - Dearborn. I also have additional certifications and trainings as an EMDR clinician and clinical trauma and resilience practitioner.
Outside of the office, I am married mom to two sweet girls, I am a life-long learner, enjoy quality company and deep conversation, and am always making an effort to maintain a healthy lifestyle by “practicing what I preach!”
