EARLY WELLNESS INTERN
I am an undergraduate intern learning with purpose and serving with heart.
I plan to serve in the mental health field by working closely with children with autism, providing them with the support, guidance, and therapeutic interventions they need to thrive.
My goal is to create a safe, nurturing, and structured environment where each child can develop essential life skills, enhance their communication abilities, and build meaningful connections. Through patience, understanding, and advocacy, I intend to help empower this population of children to reach their fullest potential.
About Me
I have had a life-long interest in the well-being of youth, and have worked with children ages 3 months to 14 years old in a variety of educational and health related roles. I am passionate about the mental and emotional health of young people, as well as the ways in which parents can be supported through their child's wellness journey.
I am currently in the process of completing my bachelor's degree in psychology at the University of Michigan - Dearborn. Upon completion of my BA, I plans to further my education and specialty with a master's degree in Clinical Social Work.
Outside of the office you can find me spending time with my friends or curled up reading a good book with my cat, Freya. I enjoy incorporating new experiences into my day to day life, and strive for a balance between work, school, being social, and relaxing!
